Michiyuki & Obi

This is a self photo , taken on the way to the office.
The coat, which is called "michiyuki" style , is from my mom.
Ground colour is redish purple, I think this is a kind of "Enji" maroon. Japanese traditional red or purple.

And, this was another one.
I was going to my Japanese Odori class (Hanayagi, less expensive beginner class I attend three times a month).

The Obi is same fabric of the Michiyuki I wore above.
My mom had the Kimono tailor to dye these specially.
In old time, (I think it was twenty or thirty years ago, ) our mothers and grandmothers easily found a tailors and sellers handles wonderful & luxury Kimonos.
